These are some of the photos taken during our most recent trip to England in June 2005. The images above include pictures from the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (in the first three rows). It is important to note that the statues are not the originals but are plaster life size reproductions. Photographs are described by row and image number in that row. In the first row, fourth image (from the left), is the statue of David by Michelangelo (its location would be 1:4). Image 2:1 is the main gallery. Image 2:2 are the tombs of King Henry II and his Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine from the early 13th Century (Henry II is an ancestor). Image 2:5 King Henry II close up. Image 3:1 Statue of David and image 3:2 St. John the Baptist by Donatello. Images 4:1-5 are from Leeds Castle. Images 5:1-5 are various pub signs, city gate Canterbury, England, and a London Nutter.
